Animal Parts on the road through Canada

Today at hungry music our mouths are stuffed with food. Turkeys stuffed with frogs legs. Chicken stuffed with more chicken. Some green things. Peanut butter cookies. Giving our bodies a final feast before hitting the Canadian highway and being forced to survive on JCo’s notorious wildflower smoothies (it’s no cookie).
All saying, to those beautiful residents of Western Canada, we’re headed your way. And we’re bringing new blood, touring as the five piece for the first time. That makes ten arms to hold you!.
And there’s more. We’ve come bearing more gifts than usual. The Cockerill man himself has collected 70 pages worth of his writings into a limited run of 50 books. Words he has set to music. Words still unset. Many words you will recognize. Many are new. Each hand numbered and signed. Wondrous all!
So be warned. There are good times to be had. To be ready to sing along, download the music today at animalparts.bandcamp.com or on iTunes

Animal Parts in Stores Today!!

On this day seemingly like the others- birds aflutter, sidewalk sleepers akimbo - what we've been waiting on has finally crawled its way down the pipe. Spit into the river one by one, the members of Animal Parts have bathed, shaved, combed their hair with their fingers, and come bearing gifts.
Presented with copies of their new album “Animal Parts”, I solemnly swear to get these little packages into the hands and ears of music loving mammalites everywhere. Be it on itunes. Be it on bandcamp. Be it in the record store in your neighborhood where you’ve secretly bought Frampton Comes Alive!. The shelves have been stocked. The animal is waiting. A sign that he loves you.

To sweeten your pots, you can now stream the album (front to back and back again) here: animalparts.bandcamp.com/

Animal Parts does America

It's last call for JCo's bus to Chicago, and he's had to hide the beast in the overheard. The fury guy don't mind much, considering the birds eye view of his master's bags. Warm breathes on his sleepy head.
And this is the way they will travel well into Novemburr. One bag filled with clothes, topped with guitar. In the other, his guitar speaking machine and toothbrush.
Animal Parts has come to America to play, and strengthen the muscles in his back. Living out of sandwich bags. Keep your ears tuned to the yelps and howls coming from local bars near you. what's behind that tree?

With cont'd love,
Mr Beast

"King Of Kings" unleashed!

We at HungryMusic are not the only ones with deep belly callings. We've heard several rumblings of Gorillas in the mangroves. Other reports from the fields suggest new women are being bred.
We've come bearing gifts, an offer to assuage the looming forces. Our friends JC and co. from the Animal Parts faith have unveiled a beast of their own, the guitar thrashing, drum stick spinning, helicopter arm flailing track "King Of Kings".
If you are the type to worry, the sounds of this track among tracks are more than ample to flesh out any threatening forces.
Indeed, open up all the windows and doors, turn all dials up as close as they get to eleven, and by heavens, thou wilt be safe. thou art loved by the Animal himself.

Greetings From Animal Parts

What happens when a man submits to the sum of his parts? Mustn’t it be gruesome, being overtaken by your inner animal? But behave, all you ‘fraidy teddy huggers! Beware, all premature party shufflers! Look behind the curtain to see who’s standing with his back to the cloth…

Formerly known to perform under his Christian name, Joshua Cockerill has been reborn. He has spent years traveling with his guitar (and sometimes without), dismantling a chest of drawers, writing speeches for unnamed local politicians, secluding himself in a cabin and it’s adjacent snow fort, and collecting evidence against his useless organs (some of which he’s had removed). As evidence, Mr. C no longer looks like the kid he once did. He dresses sharper. Has more hair. And has found his voice while on vacation in the forests of Ontario. In fact, his new batch of 2012 music has qualities of a man having come to terms with his inner animal. “I've always considered myself a stray horse” he admits.

Indeed, he has succumbed to his primal corners, and now re-emerges with fellow mammals as Animal Parts. But Don’t fear the name or look into the sun! They wouldn’t make their music noises, just singing and singing, without its meaning something. Simply ask musical guru Billy Vitt, who claims ‘Animal Parts’ new album ‘Animal Parts’ “had me exceeding the speed limit and crossing the lines. I haven’t had more fun since I was a school boy and forced to wear shorts.”

And so it is. From the horses mouth. The birth of something truly unknown. Finally, answers to the murmurs of “who does he see when he turns out the lights?” The music can be yours on August 21st, 2012: a day for going outdoors to feed old bread to unbeknownst birds.
I leave you with this final thought, dear reader, from the album’s shortest title, a reference to the overhead fluf fluff fluttering of a chickadee in flight, “Behave, and you will hear it too.”

Fair is well and peas to all.
